Many thanks for your help in the last question. Now I got my ALIX-Board to work with the latest version of pfsense ALPHA. I thought the new pfsense would have FREEBSD 7.0 as base but in /etc/version_kernel I found that it ist still version 6.2?
I´m used to linux and try now my first steps in freebsd so I could not verify it by myself. Many thanks.

Drop to a shell prompt and try typing:
        uname -a
