        So is this the right setup you have?

        External Network -> Your PC (Running vBox) -> pfSense vm (DHCP IP on WAN) -> Wireless access point -> your phone?

        Quick questions then:

        1. What is the external networks IP space (eg. 192.168.1.x/24?)
        2. How do you have the phone connected to pfSense?
        3. Do you have the setting "allow traffic from internal IP addresses on WAN" enabled on your WAN interface?

        Edit: Do you have two networks setup in virtual box or do you only have one?

        I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing here.

            Alright, so let me know if I have this right.

            Your modem -> Your PC running pfsense

            -and-

            Your modem -> Your Phone.

            What IP do you get from the modem's DHCP? You can't connect to pfsense from behind it, your phone needs to hit your pfsense box before it hits the modem.

            Eg.

            Your Modem -> Your PC running pfsense -> A wireless access point -> your phone.

            I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing here.

                I assume the interface in the picture is enabled.  Do you have the firewall rule and the outbound NAT rule made as well?

                    I haven't figured out your problem yet but this may give you something to check.  Website not being reach while Google.com is reachable can be a sign that IPv6 internet is working and IPv4 internet is not.  You could be reaching google via the IPv6 internet only.
