DNS not working between to sites using OpenVPN

I recently setup a peer-to-peer OpenVPN connection between two pfsense boxes. I can access machines back and forth by IP but cannot by by hostname. I tired adding the remote network, as well as the tunnel network to the access lists on the DNS resolver but it didn't help.

Any thoughts as to what could be wrong? I am not sure if this is a DNS issue explicitly or a VPN one.  Both pfsense machines were at the same domain if that matters.
