So an issue here. Pfsense behind a separate 4G router. Router works as a bridge so pfsense gets public ip on WAN side.

Problem is that if for some reason the 4G router is restarted the pfsense does not know to get a new IP and thus loses connection until rebooted.

Is there a way to make sure pfsense gets a new IP even if the 4G router is rebooted?

If nothing else, then a watchdog to reboot pfsense if connection is down for too long?
