Printer going offline all of a sudden

I have a J3355 box I built last fall that has been rock solid. All of a sudden this week the wireless printer keeps going offline. The printer is ~6 years old and the only time I have touched the networking interface on it is when I changed routers.
Most of what I have been able to dig up online mentions a firewall issue that can knock printers off the network or cause things to not print. A power cycle of the printer usually will allow the computers on my network (Windows & OSX, wired & wireless) to view the printer long enough to reinstall it and print. It has a static IP through pfSense and sometimes I can ping it and sometimes it's completely offline (100% packet loss).
Would anything have changed in the last week to cause this? Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
I am running pfSense 2.4.2 on the J3355 and using my old wireless router as a wireless AP.

To isolate the issue, remove the static mapping from pfsense and assign a static ip directly on the printer outside the dhcp scope. Moreover if the printer is on the same network as client devices, the packets won’t go through pfsense at all. I don’t think it has anything to do with pfsense.

I am a little confused on your static ip comment. My DHCP range is .100-.199 and the printer is set to .211. Is that what you mean?
I agree this is most likely not a pfSense issue but the ONLY thing that has changed in the last few months is the addition of pfSense and moving my router to serve as a wireless AP. The printer has been rock solid in the same location for 6 years. I'm grasping at straws I know. But I do appreciate the help!

Yes. So your printer ip is out of scope. Have you manually configured IP address on the printer too or it’s just reserved on pfsense and printer is set to dhcp.

Reserved on pfSense using the MAC address.

I wanted to follow up on this issue. I noticed some of my other 2.4Ghz devices were offline after a few days and restarted the router I was using as a wireless AP. That seems to be the issue. It has dropped service again after just a day but only the 2.4Ghz band. It looks like it may be on the way out.
