Keep OpenVPN

  • It is a wonderful tool and the only one I know of that will allow you to configure the client to pass through a proxy server.  I am a consultant and many times people have proxies w/ URL filtering in place or block everything except web traffic.  It is great that I have a way to get outbound to get the things I need to perform my job.

Have you even tried it?  I doubt it works because nobody has gotten it working.  Whats the point of keeping broken stuff?

  • Have used it on an OpenBSD and Linux systems and it works great.  Not configured it on pfsense yet.

  • No, I meant have you tried it on pfSense.  It exists if you know how to enable it.
