It is a wonderful tool and the only one I know of that will allow you to configure the client to pass through a proxy server.  I am a consultant and many times people have proxies w/ URL filtering in place or block everything except web traffic.  It is great that I have a way to get outbound to get the things I need to perform my job.

Have you even tried it?  I doubt it works because nobody has gotten it working.  Whats the point of keeping broken stuff?

Have used it on an OpenBSD and Linux systems and it works great.  Not configured it on pfsense yet.

No, I meant have you tried it on pfSense.  It exists if you know how to enable it.
