Can I use different hard drives on Primary / Slaves?

I have 2 Dell R200 servers running 2.1.5, set up for High Availability with one as Primary, the other as Secondary.

Both servers have a mirror of 160GB sata drives, and I recently lost a drive in the primary.

If I replaced the 160gb drives in the primary with 240gb SSD drives, do the drives in Secondary have to match exactly the drives in the Primary?

No, the drives don't have to match. But you really ought to get on a somewhat recent version…
