First pfsense box looking for input PCPP list included

I would like to build a pfsense box for home. I have 200mb internet, would run VPN and snort. This would be my first step in to pfsense so there might be more packages I would run in the future. I would also like this box to learn and tinker with and be some what future proof. So would this be a good starting point for a pfsense box. Thanks!
