SG-3100 - Thermal Sensor/Temperature
-
What should the Thermal Sensor setting be in System-Advancd-Miscellaneous? The thermal sensor widget does not match the temperature reading on the left side of the dashboard. The vary as much as 1-9 degrees. I only noticed because I flipped the temperature to Fahrenheit.

It should be set to 'None/ACPI'. The other choices are for the onboard sensors in recent Intel or AMD CPUs and the SG-3100 uses a Marvell SoC.
I suspect your are just seeing update differences between the two values there. They both use the same source:
Shell Output - sysctl dev.armada_thermal dev.armada_thermal.0.temperature: 67 dev.armada_thermal.0.%parent: simplebus1 dev.armada_thermal.0.%pnpinfo: name=thermal@e8078 compat=marvell,armada380-thermal dev.armada_thermal.0.%location: dev.armada_thermal.0.%driver: armada_thermal dev.armada_thermal.0.%desc: Armada380 Thermal Control dev.armada_thermal.%parent:

I believe that is the case, thank you. I am setup correctly then. Interesting, my temp stays right on the border of warning and critical and its not even summertime yet. Ha.

Those default limit values in the sensors widget are not really valid for the SG-3100. You can adjust them.
Temperatures in the 65-75C range are completely normal.
