The SG-3100 does not power off when selecting halt.  The SG-2440 I have does.  Is this an intended design change?  How can I tell when it has finished the shutdown routine to safely power off the device without keeping a console cable connected?

You have had a lot of views but no reply. All I can say is mine is the same way. So, when I halt the system I connect a console cable and watch it complete. It’s not often I need to shut it down and if I’m close enough to watch the lights I’m close enough for the cable. I think I received it @5 months ago and have halted it twice.

Thanks for your response.  This is not good for me.  The device is at a remote site.
