      Hi Folks,
Currently running pfSense with two NIC's bridged into the LAN interface.
The LAN interface has always had a static spoofed MAC address assigned to prevent Windows hosts showing a "new network" after each restart of pfSense.

This worked great prior upgrading to 2.4.2-RELEASE-p1.
Since upgrading the spoofed mac isn't being honoured though. It keeps changing.

Anyone else seen this as well with 2.4.2 or knows of a workaround?

      Thanks!

Hmm, I'm not aware of that issue in 2.4.2. What version did you upgrade from?

Are you now seeing the random MAC again at each boot?

        Steve

          Hi Steve,
Sorry for the late reply, but yes that's correct.
Even with a static spoofed MAC address assigned to the bridge, it just gets a new random one assigned each boot.
          (I restored a 2.3.5 config onto a new 2.4.2 image to get to 2.4.2…)
