I have purchased this https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N1MOJE4/?tag=pcp0f-21 motherboard which has 2 Intel nics on it.

I want to add another nic for my fail over network.

      I have found these

      https://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-PWLA8391GTLBLK-1000-GT-Server-Adaptor/dp/B008F6IBYS

      https://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-EXPI9301CTBLK-PRO1000-Network-PCIex/dp/B001CY0P7G

Would any of these work with pfSense?

Are there any other cards you would recommend?

That board appears to have only one PCIe slot so that first NIC, which is PCI, is right out.  ;)

The Pro1000 CT card should work fine. You might want to choose a dual port card since you only have one slot though. Unless you know for sure you will only ever need 3 interfaces.
