      I want to assign static IPV6 address to my childrens iPad.. then give them an alias.
      So then I can schedule and block internet etc..

      I have done this with IPv4 ok.. but netflix and youtube are using IPv6

      Any help.. have tried assigning static IPv6 of of ::0040.. but that doesn't seem to have worked..

        Perhaps you could use DHCPv6, instead of SLAAC for assigning IPv6 addresses.  Then you could assign a specific IPv6 address to the MAC address.

        PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
        i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.
        UniFi AC-Lite access point

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

          ^^ this works for me

          mac-pro:~ andy$ host ipad
          ipad.xxxxxxxxxx.net has address 172.16.2.41
          ipad.xxxxxxxxxx.net has IPv6 address 2a02:xxxx:xxxx:2::29
          mac-pro:~ andy$

          Get the DUID from Diagnostics -> NDP Table

          Set Services ->DHCPv6 Server & RA -> INTERFACE -> Router Advertisements to Managed
