      Hello,
Our fiber optics service provider has provided us a modem which has a public IP. However, when a 2.3.5 instance of phsense is configured to with pppoe credentials, system got corrupted and now it's being re-installed. Wondering how to make sure this doesn't happen. Also, why doesn't the WAN with PPPoE, MTU 1492 can't retrieve the public IP.
Local ISP modem doesn't have any option to set the bridge mode either. So, we are assuming that there's nothing to be done at the modem.
