I have a problem regarding restoring of configuration to my new pfsense install. The actual installation completed and all is in defaults and is working fine. I can halt and restarted the system without any problem. When I restored a backup of my configuration from my old box which is a nano version 2.3.4 installed on it to the new one which is the 2.4.3-RELEASE (amd64) built on Mon Mar 26 18:02:04 CDT 2018 FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE-p7, Putty stuck on "Booting from Hard Disk" (see attachment) even though pfsense boots alright and I can log on to the WebUI only on internet explorer. I could not login from Chrome and firefox.

What could probably go wrong, and how can i fix this issue with the console and this issue which i am unable to login to the WebUI from chrome and firefox?

Thanks and looking forward to seeing your helping assistance

It's almost certainly because the config file you restored had a console baud rate set that is different to that configured in the BIOS.

You can set that in the GUI though since you have access. In System > Advanced > Admin Access. It probably needs to be set to 115200. Reboot to apply that.

Hard to say about the browser issue, not a known problem. Check from incognito mode or disable plugins etc.
