Unable to add forward map from <host>to <ip>: operation cancelled</ip></host>

pfSense 2.3.3-RELEASE (amd64) on Netgate SG-2440. DNS Forwarder and DHCP Server are enabled in pfSense. The static DNS works perfectly. But DHCP clients won't register - I get the error in the subject line in the logs. Register DHCP leases in DNS forwarder is ticked in DNS Forwarder settings. Enable registration of DHCP client names in DNS is ticked in DHCP Server. The domain name is correctly set in System / General setup. The clients are all Windows 10 Professional. Is there something else I am missing?

Huh! Well now it all of a sudden started working. I was reading other posts here and someone mentioned /etc/hosts so I decided to cat it from the command prompt and I saw a section labeled
dhcpleases automatically entered
and they were all there. Opened a Windows command prompt and now I can ping them. I guess I just didn't have enough patience! 8)
