    Can I just use PFSense GUI for Freeswitch … but no FreeBSD ??

      I just want to use the PFSense GUI to manage either an existing or a companion FS installation …. but am not running FreeBSD.  I have a virtualized platform with OpenVZ.  Is it possible to extract and use just the GUI or GUI+FS elements  ... and leave FreeBSD behind?

        I guess that this will include a lot of adaption work.

          Yeah a whole lot of adaptation, it's very much tied into the pfSense code base. You would almost be writing a GUI from scratch to adapt it to anything other than pfSense, even a stock FreeBSD install.
