Second LAGG XG-7100
-
Hi, I'm helping a friend set up an XG-7100. I've read through the switch-overview.html for the device.
He has a Cisco 3560 48 Port Switch he'd like to use to host his users and a small VM server.
He is going to create and connect 4 X 100 Megabit LACP Etherchannel interface on the switch for the VM server.
He also wants to have a 4X100 Megabit LAGG uplink into the PFSENSE for Client connectivity.I realize that the overview says, don't mess with LAGG0 but I'd like to have a 2nd LAGG and if I want to do that on an XG-7100, it looks like I'd have to disjoin port 9 port 10 from Lagg0 and add it to LAGG1 along with 4 of the ethX ports to create the second lagg so that it was connected to the actual PFSENSE..
Would this be the correct approach? -
@ilgtech75 --- Correction it looks like I’d have to disjoin port 9 OR port 10 from Lagg0 and add it to LAGG1 along with 4 of the ethX ports to create the second lagg so that it was connected to the actual PFSENSE…
Would this be the correct approach?
