Hi everyone :) I am looking for a little help / advise.

I am looking to install PFsense on a box with two network cards. I would like to place this box into my network on the cable that currently connects my Cisco to my Wireless provider.

I am wondering in a bridged setup do I have to have an IP address on the Lan / Wan interface or can I have a configuration that will just pass or filter all traffic that is on the wire?

I guess I just want to be able to drop the PFsense box onto the ehternet cable that currently connects my network to the internet and then be able to use the features that PF gives me. I would rather not have to re IP my current NIC that is connecting to the Web.

      Any thoughts?
      Mark
