    Intel G5400T.. thoughts?

      Hello.

      Been running PfSense through a virtualised instance on another rig for a while and love it, time to build myself something new and shiny.

      The G5400Truns at 35W BUT can set TDP to 25W and it happily runs 4 threads at 2.1GHz so am hoping to run passively cooled.

      Is that enough for 1Gb LAN traffic and proxy for 6 clients?

      Rest of spec will be 4GB RAM and 120GB WD Green SSD.

        The CPU has AES-NI at 3.10 GHz

        Should be more than adequate for your needs.
