      Hi,

I tried the GUI guided update to the 2.4.3-p1 revision, it appeared fine till reboot time. It never came back up. I have an APU4 (I believe it is an APU.1d). Three network interfaces no wifi.

I was able to get a serial console going and it looks like the last line is stuck on

/boot/config: -S115200 โ€“D (see screen shots below for further details)

I had never had an issue prior so this came to be as a surprise. I have a backup file (older but still ok).

I would appreciate some pointers on what I can do next and what information I can provide.

      Thank you.

      Regards, Michael

Is your serial client set for a speed of 115200?

If you let it go, does it eventually boot up and let you connect over the network?

Where it stops is where it would usually switch to whatever console settings were present in the loader config, so maybe it doesn't match your client in some way.

          Hi jimp,

Yes on the speed, although its a bit of a hack since I'm using Linux in a virtual machine. I have let it sit for a while (20 + minutes or so but nothing). What happened after the upgrade was the the GUI page never returned back from trying to reboot.

I was not able to gain network access again.

Any suggestions on what I could do to get back to a running system? I have been reading the instruction on the website but I'm already struggling to clearly identify what architecture my APU4 has. Any tips?

          Thank you. R/Michael

If you need to reinstall on an APU (first or second gen), the amd64 serial-memstick image is what you'd need.
