      hi, is it possible to disable serial interface during bootup. i mean is there a wayto access serial interface only after bootup is finished. (not showing the info of bootup)

        Worried about people seeing info or connecting ?

        You can password protect the console port, its under settings.

          If you set the primary console to be the video/vga console then most of the bootup messages would only go there.

          The kernel startup messages always go to both, then the pfSense boot scripts output only to the primary console, and then all consoles get a menu.
