Is there a way to downgrade my pfsense to the stable release?

The only way I could recommend doing that is to stick with the snapshot you're on until 2.4.4 is released and then switch back to the stable repo. It will then be more recent that whatever snap you're running and you can upgrade to it.

To do it now I can only suggest re-installing. But the config file version has changed between 2.4.3 and 2.4.4 so it would be very good to have a backup config from 2.4.3 to restore into it if you need to.

Ok. I will hang in for now. When is the release date of 2.4.4?

            When it's ready. 😉

There is no fixed date. I would expect months from now rather than weeks but that is subject to change. If there is some new critical issue for for example it would be pushed up.

With this new forum design, I can't find the dev release sections, have they gone?
