Hi. I am not a Firewall person at all so please forgive me if this question is not phrased or worded correctly.

When we try to establish the IPSEC tunne, the logs on the palo alto side seem to suggest that the lifetime is set incorrectly, even though we can see that it is set to the same on both sides.

      2018-07-11 15:50:37.429 +0100 [PERR]: { 23: }: invalid life duration.

As a side question, if there is an issue on Phase 2, should i still see phase 1 establish, or would it stay in a connecting state?

      Thanks in advance.

Sorry - can't help with that message on the PA. Obviously doesn't like something.

If all of the P2s hard fail the other side might send a disconnect for the P1 which pfSense will honor.

Whatever the answer, the problem lies in the IPsec logs.
