[Solved] Update from 2.4.3 to 2.4.3_1 fail
-
I have just switched hardware and trying to get all up and running. But it's not going as smooth as I thought... Now I am on 2.4.3 fresh install and when I try to update to 2.4.3_1 I get this error...
[3/8] Fetching pfSense-kernel-pfSense-2.4.3_1.txz: .. done pkg-static: https://pkg.pfsense.org/pfSense_v2_4_3_amd64-core/All/pfSense-kernel-pfSense-2.4.3_1.txz: Operation timed out Failed

I tried multiple times, I've tried rebooting and even reinstalling everything again. Tried both GUI and option 13 in shell. Same error.
Using a Supermicro Atom Rangley 2558, see here http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/Atom/X10/A1SRi-2558F.cfmPlease help out or point in right direction what this could be
EDIT1: I just updated to the latest BIOS too, but no progress made...
EDIT2: Read "solution" in comment below.

What happens if you just try to download that using a web browser?

@derelict
Thanks for your reply!
I am sorry for my late reply! I managed to get it to update somehow, I used the option 13 again last night and went to sleep. Then when I woke up I saw it failed so I tried option 13 one more time, waited for like 2 hours then it was updated! So I did basically nothing... Then I had lot of struggle installing the packages in the web GUI but after I've been trying over and over and waited about 4 hours they all went through. -
You on dialup or something?

Nope, 100/100 Mbit's fiber, the whole download process was strangely slow too.
EDIT: But wow... I see now when measuring I only get like 7 Mbit/s down......... Is there a package in pfsense where I can log the speed over time and make a nice graph over it?
