Breaking loop on Error message
I am still a PfSense newbie, and i guess I did a silly thing. I wanted to change the IP Gateway address, and I had also specified a number of static IP addresses for computers (under the previous Gateway IP.) I deleted the static address for the computer I was on, and then went to change the Gateway IP, but after that, I got the following error message, which keeps popping up. I thought that once I signed in under the new IP Gateway address, I would be able to go back and change all the remaining static device addresses (just one number on each.) But now I keep running into this error message and can't do anything to get past it:
"***Error: 501 Description: An HTTP_REFERER was detected other than what is defined in System -> Advanced (http://192.168.5.1/). If not needed, this check can be disabled in System -> Advanced -> Admin.***"
It won't let me go to turn off the message--the error just reappears. I want to change it to good old 192.168.1.1. I'm guessing I need to just reset the whole system, but if that's the case, do I need to do it from the machine itself, rather than through the web GUI, and how do I do that?

Thanks. I can see I am not the only one dealing with that error message.
This looked like it was going to be helpful, but I restarted the PfSense machine and now I cannot get into the GUI through either the previous IP (192.168.5.1) or the one I tried to change it to (192.168.1.1). It looks to me like I am going to have to hook up a monitor and keyboard and do something with the setup parameters on the machine itself. Any other suggestions? I haven't tried this yet, so I am not sure how to do this either.
Okay, there really wasn't any way I could figure out how to deal with this through the GUI. I plugged in a keyboard and monitor, and reset the LAN's IP address after the machine went through startup. That's the only way that made sense and was straightforward.
