      I have a dual processor:
      Processors 2
      Model Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz
      CPU Speed 2.99 GHz

I setup Pfsense with the uni kernal and would like to know th steps to take to use the multi proccess kernal. With out having to start from scratch.

      Thanks,

      ~Paul

Well, uni or multiple kernel mode is a initial installation question when you boot the first time (from CD).

I only saw the question at that very moment.

The good news is that you could save your config to a external medium, and redo the initial install.
        Make the good kernel choice,
        Set up the LAN,
        Load the config ,
        …and you're up.

Just setting a simple switch and reboot isn't a choice, I think.

Edit : and where are the logs ??

You can get the mp kernel from the install cd and copy it over- download it onto the box, use a usb key, mount the cd etc. Then just backup the old kernel and rename it to kernel.gz. Then reboot the box.
