      Hello,
I'm trying to get SIP behind my pfsense to work. I've a external SIP provider and try to connect with a SIP software cliënt. Because this didn't work with pfsense I tried it directly on my ADSL modem and that worked. Simple conclusion, pfsense can't handle this.
After that I searched the whole forum and read all posts about SIP and pfsense. From siproxd to static port and all other options. I'm trying to get it to work for 2 days now and I'm getting really frustrated.
How can I get this to work short and simple? I can't even login to my SIP provider through pfsense.
      Thanks in advance.
      Kind regards,
      Hans Middelhoek

How does this the job? Do I need to configure my SIP settings within FreeSwitch and after that do I need to set the IP of my pfsense as proxy in my software SIP cliënt?
          PfSense version: 1.2.2

You have to forward port 5060 for inbound sip to work. You could alternatively use freeswitch or a sip proxy if you have multiple sip devices behind your nat.

I've no idea - but I'm sure if you read the thread and RTFM on FreeSwitch you'll find out ;)
