      Hello evrybody,
on my new APU I would like to install pfSense, but it´s not possible to get a serial connection.
This cable with gender changer: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00QUZY4WO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have crossed TX & RX and I can see the keys on the putty console, but I can not connect/can not see something from the APU :(
All 3 led´s will be green, after that only one and after some seconds it beep onetime
      Putty settings: Correct COM-Port, 115200, 8, 1, no parity & flow control
      I have tested it on win7 & 10

You need to use a null-modem cable or adapter not just a gender changer.
