I updated to the latest pfblockerng on 2.4.3, now I'm trying to upgrade to 2.4.4 but the updater is saying I'm running a newer version.

I'm also getting a crash report with a lot of PHP errors, is it possible to fix this? I uninstalled pfblockerng but didn't help.

I also have a similar issue. I replaced my hardware and did a full restore. I have to reinstall all my packages but pfblockerng no longer works. I then tried pfblockerng-evil and get the PHP errors. I uninstalled and tried again still errors with pfblockerng-evil. If I install pfblockerng I don't get the crash report but it doens't work like it used to.

Can you run the two commands:

          php -v
          php_pfb -v

Versions should match... If they don't then run these commands:

          rm -f /usr/local/bin/php_pfb
          ln /usr/local/bin/php /usr/local/bin/php_pfb

You can only run that with pfBlockerNG-devel installed... which you removed as per you previous post :)

To be safe... Uninstall pfBlockerNG/pfBlockerNG-devel (with keep settings enabled).
                        Then upgrade to 2.4.4
                        Then reinstall pfBlockerNG/pfBlockerNG-devel

There have been many fixes in the base pfSense code and in the package, but its always safe to follow those steps...

But as ALWAYS... have a backup plan...

                        Thanks!

@bbcan177 ads seem to be removed now... In services status pfb_filter is not running. What is that for ? It doesn't want to run.

There was a fix last night to add symlinks instead of hard links which caused the service status to not show the running service status.... Its running ok, so its cosmetic for now...

Its going to be fixed in the next release v2.2.5_17 which is pending dev review... So should be ready soon...
