I'm trying to install a new instance on AWS. When I run the instance, nothing happens and I can't access the unit via the elastic IP. When I look at the AWS system log I see this. So far I count 6 times the OS has halted. Suggestions?

M4 large. I determined that everytime I tried to hard set the IP address I wanted on the AWS subnet it would fail. After installing and then terminating it several times, I could relaunch a new instance with an automatically generated IP address with no problems.
