I have a big problem. Have upgraded a PFsense 1.2 to 1.2.2. Now it stops responding on a regular basis.
Suddenly there is no traffic through the pfsense. I can connect to the pfsense remote, so the internet is up and running. A reboot fixes the problem.

Any ideas of what to do? Reinstall the PFsense?

Thanks for the quick response :-)
Upgrading right now, hope this will fix the issue, will return and tell you if it helps.

I found a rogue DHCP server. And think that may be the problem.

The upgrade went wrong and i had to install pfsense all over again. Only problem is that i didn't have the backupfile so i could restore the settings (stupid me, the file is on my home computer). But seems like it is running again, will watch it for the next couple of days and give you an update here.

unfortunately, the update didn't fix the problem. Still needs to restart the firewall to get the flow going again. Any ideas?
