      HI. I have noticed some time discrepancies in the system log and the OpenVPN Log. They seem to have something to do with user logins.
      The time shown in the logs seem to disregard the time zone setting.

      OpenVPN Log

      Oct 4 09:36:28 	openvpn 	85342 	user/***.***.139.155:54863 [user] Inactivity timeout (--ping-restart), restarting
      Oct 4 09:18:57 	openvpn 	85342 	user/***.***.139.155:54863 MULTI_sva: pool returned IPv4=10.*.*.2, IPv6=(Not enabled)
      Oct 4 15:18:56 openvpn user 'user' authenticated
      Oct 4 09:18:56 	openvpn 	85342 	***.***.139.155:54863 [user] Peer Connection Initiated with [AF_INET]***.***.139.155:54863
      Oct 4 09:18:56 	openvpn 	85342 	***.***.139.155:54863 peer info: IV_GUI_VER=OpenVPN_GUI_11

      System Log

      Oct 1 08:45:51 root rc.update_bogons.sh is beginning the update cycle.
      Oct 1 14:45:37 php-fpm 85134 /index.php: Successful login for user 'admin' from: 192.168.1.35 (Local Database)
      Oct 1 08:38:51 	                    ******-fwpfsense.*****.lan 		nginx: 2018/10/01 08:38:51 [error] 37922#100429: send() failed (54: Connection reset by peer)

      My time zone is GMT -6 for daylight savings time.
      Not sure if this is a bug or a setting I seem to have missed.

        Are you using a geographic named zone or one of the GMT +/- zones? (Hint: You do not want to use the GMT offset zones)

        Also after changing the time zone you'll need to reboot to ensure all processes are using the correct time zone.

          Thanks jimp. I went back to the General System Settings and re-selected the correct timezone location, saved then rebooted and all seems good.
