Hey guys, I heard that some packages was removed from pfSense and I was wondering: Why is E2Guardian5 not an official package?
IMHO, E2Guardian is easier to install and use than Squid, yet Squid is still an official package.

I seem to remember that there had been a bounty for an E2Guardian package... and I think the package had been completed, but I don't know that it was ever added to pfSense as a formal package available for all to use.

Then again, maybe I'm wrong... didn't spend a lot of time digging, but didn't find any immediate results...

@virgiliomi I use this unnofficial package and I love it. The problem is when pfSense updates, that's why I'd like it as an official package.
