Documentation for the 2.4.4 feature? : Default gateway : Default gateway IPv4 : Automatic
-
Anyone know how this works? I see it's not yet documented.

It's pretty simple, although there are some rough edges when upgrading from older versions that occasionally leave you with no internet access or other wonky settings that need to be fixed by hand.
But basically all this does is allow you to select a gateway group as your router's default gateway. The previous behavior was: you would have to pick a single WAN as your default gateway, and optionally you could enable default gw switching in Advanced settings—but the firewall would pick one at random... and sometimes it would pick an undesired gw such as a VPN etc.
So basically this just gives you a bit more control.

Funny you should mention that. I had to drive out to a location last week because of this new feature :)
