Hello! I'd like to use lcdproc with an arduino and a 16x2 lcd display. I installed the lcdproc package, I set up everything (serial port, hd44780 driver, lcdserializer), if I start the LCDd from command line in foreground, it starts normally without any error, but nothing shows up on the lcd, and the arduino's serial led is not blinking. What can be the problem?

Hard to say without more data. Wrong com port maybe?

This is some LCD you have built yourself?
