We would not like to move to pfsense 2.4.4 anytime soon.

I am having trouble updating the current packages we have. There is no option for Security/Errata updates option on my pfsense. How to fix this?

There is no fix, upgrade to 2.4.4 or live with outdated packages on an outdated base system.
