Hmm, odd. Can you change the user ID in the URL to reach the correct account?

Does it happen repeatably? Or can you just try again and it succeeds?

What pfSense version are you seeing that on? What browser are you using?

What version of pfSense are you running?

That sounds vaguely like a user manager issue I fixed before 2.4.4 was released

I'm using IE, EDGE and Chrome. My colleague is having the same issue. PFSENSE 2.4.4 I tried URL and it opens the correct user and quickly switches back to admin

There isn't any redirecting I see on the page that would account for that kind of switch.

Does the URL change when you edit a user? What URL does it show?

The only cases in the code that result in a redirect are when deleting or saving settings.

Do you maybe have the same ad blocker, script blocker, password manager, or other add-on in common between all your browsers?

No the URL doesn't change. I manage 3 PFSENSE netgates and it only happens on one of them that was updated to 2.4.4 last week

So what exactly changes here? Can we see screenshots?

The only thing similar to that I've seen turned out to be the browser auto-filling some fields. Try in incognito mode if you've not already.

I figured out my Issue. I'm using lastpass manager and it was updating the fields for some odd reason and only on this appliance. All good now. Thanks

Ah, cool. That's exactly what I saw. I got as far as opening a bug before I realised. ๐Ÿ˜‰
