      Hello,

This error appeared in System Logs. I can access ntopng, but I wonder why this error happens.
Nov 8 07:47:40 ntopng [HTTPserver.cpp:923] ERROR: Unable to start HTTP server (IPv4) on ports 3000s
Nov 8 07:47:40 ntopng [mongoose.c:4534] ERROR: set_ports_option: cannot bind to 3000s: Address already in use

It looks like it's trying to start twice (or perhaps failing to close).

Do you see this just once at boot or repeatedly?

What pfSense version are you running? What ntopng package version?

        Steve

Pfsense version is 2.4.4 and ntopng version is 0.8.13_2. I see it usually, especially on boot.

Is ntop actually working correctly? If so it seems like a harmless but ugly error.
I see that same error here and it doesn't appear to affect function.

I can access ntopng though, but sometimes i see ntopng stops and starts by itself in Services. But I wonder, will there an update for this error?

Well it obviously shouldn't stop by itself. If that is a bug it will likely be fixed at some point.

The startup error seems harmless though from what I've seen. No problems with it here.
