I am trying to ping through my IPSec Tunnel to the far end PFSense LAN Interface IP

My pings fail to the LAN Interface IP but do work to the WAN Interface IP.

Any ideas as to why I can not ping the Inside LAN Interface IP on the far end IPSec PFSense?

      Thanx,

      John

Probably because you are not specifying the source IP which must be inside the defined Phase 2 policy.

What is the full command you are using?

Thank you so much for your insight

you were correct, once I added the -S option for source address it worked :-)

          ping -S x.x.y.y x.x.z.z
