I'm considering moving from my DD-WRT-based SOHO router to an SG-3100 with pfSense for better security & more frequent / thorough patches to cure new vulnerabilities as they are discovered.

If I buy an SG-3100 sometime this quarter (or so,) roughly how long will it be officially supported by Netgate for firmware updates? 3 years? 5? 10? Is there an official end-of-life schedule for older products?

(I have just a 25Mbps ADSL WAN connection and no need to do in-router VPN connections or any other high-demand functionality, so I think the basic CPU/RAM allotment are probably fine for a decade or more.)
