clamd / freshclam and a control panel

Unable to locate anything for this in the GUI. Did I miss this? If no, can someone point me in the right direction for docs on creating a panel for this, so that it can be submitted for inclusion?

While there are minor tidbits included in the Squid config panel, there are additional settings that would be useful. Also, the ability to review the log in the panels (Status -> System Logs -> ....)

For those that may have excess RAM available, is there any reason why clamd can't/shouldn't use a RAM drive for archive scanning? eg: like in the (System -> Advanced -> Miscellaneous). This can significantly reduce scan times for archives on download.

Is there any reason a control panel shouldn't expose the various options and configs for this?
