does this matter?
thanks in advance.

@no_one Is your coffee cup touching the keyboard?
-
lol. nope. i have gigabyte b360, 8 gig ram, celeron g4900 and adata su800 m.2 128gig.
-
@no_one Well, it looks like keyboard characters touching the console.
It could be harmful when booting, like stopping boot.
And most probably will appear also after booting.
Perhaps a hardware issue?
Does the keyboard work well after booting in a shell? -
yes it works with out issues as far as i can tell. all hardware is new just bought it all. but the keyboard is old. i will try swapping it out. but i do not think that is the issue.

Looks like a ctrl R or ctrl X (depending if 18 is decimal or hex..)

the usb keyboard does work on this computer but when i plug it into the other one it does characters. i plugged in my ps/2(yes i still have ps/2 kb and mouse) it does not show those characters, so you are right it was the keyboard.
thank you for replying. i thought the keyboard was fine but I guess not.
