I restored my config from 2.4.4_p1 to a new disk.

The Status / System Logs / Settings Log file size (Bytes) was set to 10MB. After the reboot, the files in /var/log were all 500MB.

So I click on the Reset Log Files button to flush the log and now they are 10MB.

I know it's not a bug as flushing the logs on any Configuration restore would not be very appreciated.

But maybe there might be an note in the Docs about this caveat.

Yes thanks to this note I was able to get what I wanted. That's what I did on the old 2.4.4_p1. I just "forgot" that I needed to do the same a few weeks later when I restored to a new disk.

But do I have to visit all tabs and sub tabs to figure out what I need to pay attention to when restoring to a new installation?

Keep a good documentation of the changes you made. And yes, verifying your setup after a config restore is important and pretty much a standard procedure.
