    Hi

I have a major problem to understand why pfsense deny my FTP trafic to my internal FTP server.
Please remember that you have to speak to me as a five year old kid when it comes to port forwarding and firewall rules....

I can quickly say that my FTP server doesnt act wrongly, i can connect to it from the very same host.
But all other attempt fails regardless on what internal network i am on. iv tried with host on same network as the server and vice versa.

Do we have a known problem with filezilla and pfsense? my firewall on my inside is very simpel. I have 4 internal networks with any any rule on them, Please guys help me before i complete got a fuking meltdown here!

I know everything has logic to it, but at the moment i really want to uninstall a rather fucking great product.
yeaaa i know i wont do it since it is a understanding problem from my side. but i CANT be the only person with this problem?????

why tha hell does pfsense discard my trafic on the inside with any any rule?

A comprehensive network diagram is worth 10,000 words and 15 conference calls.
DO NOT set a source address/port in a port forward or firewall rule unless you KNOW you need it!

        Oh please lord help me!

I found the problem after a few hours....the beers during the night didnt helped me either.
I looked at all possible solutions and problems but never did i realize it might be a computer firewall that caused this issue.

I'm ashamed to say that it was enough to shut down the computers internal firewall where the FTP server is ínstalled.
Yeah i am gonna go to sleep now and never wake up again :)

That is number 2 on this list of things to check for port forwarding.
