I'm running with the SG-3100. I see the operating temperature specs say 0C and 65C. While mine is in a relatively cool room in the basement, even when fairly idle, it hovers just north of the high end (65C). So I'm wondering if this is a potential problem. Is this really the upper bound for acceptable temperature? Do I need to be cooling this thing better?

This is well with in the operating tolerances for the device. If you have enough airflow under the device, you should not have any issues.

At the Global Support Desk, we have seen temps closer to lower 70's; with out issues. The Plate on the bottom is the heat sink, as long as there is air flow under the unit, you should be ok.
