      Hi everyone,

Everytime we try to update PFsense to 2.4.4. The firewall crashes and does not boot. we keep getting the 2 errors:

"mmc0: Card at relative address 22964 failed to select"
      "mmc0: CMD7 failed, RESULT: 1"

We use the hardware from Applianceshop.eu. And all the firewalls crash when we try to update them.

Does anyone have a clue how we can fix this?

Simple. Google it up (not knowing what hardware it is) : this is your issue ?

Are you trying to tell us something about their support ? Something else ?

Edit : and where are the logs ??

Most likely it is a hardware quirk with FreeBSD 11.2. We had similar issues with some of our devices with eMMC, and had to work around it in various ways. You will probably need to contact the supplier and ask if there is a known workaround (device hint or quirk) for that eMMC on FreeBSD 11.2 and later.

@gertjan Sometimes it is worth mentioning the source, to get feedback from people having the same issues. We mention it happens to all the hardware from this supplier to let you guys know that it isn't a single one with a disk error or problem. Thanks in advance for constructive feedback ;)
