Upgrade from pfsense 1.2 -rel to 1.2.2 rel particulary failed

A few weeks ago i upgraded my pfsense box from 1.2 to 1.2.2… Everything went smooth(ipsec is up, rules are working fine (i have multiple networks connected to the box). The only thing is that when i try to switch gateway in one of my rules(to make a computer use different internet provider) and then reset states as i always did before, it doesnt switch... What i've tried so far is to upload 1.2.2 upgrade image again into the box, but it didn't help, the same story unfortunately :-. And even after weeks(!!!) rule is not applied. Only reboot helps.Oh, yes! And php console is not working. WHen i connect through ssh it shows something like that, if it helps:

pfSense console setup
0) Logout (SSH only)
1) Assign Interfaces
2) Set LAN IP address
3) Reset webConfigurator password
.........I understand, that the only way is full reinstall, but i have a few packages that configured and installed manually on that box, so i don't want to kill it and reconfigure it too.
