I've noticed some strange behavior with OpenVPN specifically, and before I start rooting around and ripping/replacing using the largest hammer I can find, I figured it might be good to see if anyone else has experienced issues that I'm seeing.

tl;dr with site to site OpenVPN tunnels up, raw sockets close/disconnect regularly (the most annoying such socket is for an online game, though using a python script I've seen the same results). As soon as I turn off/disable the site to site links, the issues go away entirely - raw sockets remain alive and well until I close them.

I've poked around in the firewall logs, and if I recall correctly there are momentary gateway changes as the tables reload.

I would love to hear any feedback / suggestions on what to post for diagnostic purposes.

      Cheers
